How to get there?

The closest airport to the wedding venue is Brindisi Airport ("Aeroporto di Brindisi Casale"), which is 87km far from Tenuta Tresca.

Unfortunately for travelers coming from Hungary, there are no direct flights to Brindisi. In this case, Bari Airport ("Aeroporto Internazionale di Bari-Karol Wojtyla") is the closest option, about 211 km from Tenuta Tresca.

If you will choose to come by train, the main train hub in Salento is Lecce Central Station. From there many regional trains can connect you to the rest of towns and cities in the area.

If you won't have a private car

Salento is a wonderful region — you’ll see! — but public transportation isn’t one of its strengths.

Don’t be surprised if the small towns you visit don’t offer taxi service or public buses.

If you won’t have a private car, we recommend staying in Lecce, as it’s the best connected to the nearby airports and the main train stations in the area.

How to reach Lecce without a car?

From Bari Airport:

• Step 1: Reach Bari Central Station

  • By bus (approx. 40 mins): public bus number 16 or private bus company (e.g. Tempesta Autoservizi)

  • By train (approx. 30 mins): you can book using the national train company "Trenitalia" website

• Step 2: Catch a train to Lecce Central station (also via "Trenitalia" website) (approx. 1h30mins/2h)

From Brindisi Airport:

• By public bus (Cotrap) or private bus (Terravision) (approx. 40 mins)

  • The stop in Lecce will be at the main bus station (Piazza Carmelo Bene)
